If you distribute or are thinking about distributing content in any shape or form, you should check out the Reconciling YouTube and Grokster: Business Models for Web3.0 panel on March 13, 2011 from 5-6 PM.  Panelists will be talking about the debate over liability for intermediaries, possible outcomes of the Viacom v. Google case, and will give you tools to avoid liability in the meantime.

Hi everyone - I'm a SXSWi n00b. I am a faculty fellow with the Reynolds Journalism Institute at the Missouri School of Journalism and the new media director at the local NBC affiliate. This is my first time at SXSWi. I'm hoping to connect with people in social media and get an idea of what direction I want to go with my career. I've been involved with the transition of traditional media to online, but am pretty burned out trying to deal with traditional media thinking.
